Low Uptake Rate For Flu Jab At Ennis General

A new report has stated that the uptake rate of the flu vaccine at Ennis General Hospital last winter was one of the lowest of any hospital in Ireland.

While the HSE has a target rate of 40 percent, less than a quarter of staff at the county hospital availed of the vaccine.

That compares with a national update rate of 39%, just short of targets.
