Clare women are among the least likely in Ireland to avail of the CervicalCheck screening programme.
New figures from the National Healthcare Quality Reporting System show that from 2012 to 2017 show only 72.9% women attended the service, well below the target rate of 80%.
Only Laois, Kilkenny and Roscommon had lower take-up rates.
