INMO Pleads With Health Minister To Lift Recruitment Ban

The INMO’s Midwest representative is pleading with the Health Minister to lift the HSE’s recruitment ban to start alleviating the number of patients left on trolleys.

Mary Fogarty is commenting in light of the organisation’s daily trolleywatch analysis showing that there’s been over 70 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick every day this week so far.

The UL Hospitals Group says delayed discharges of patients fit to go home or to step down facilities is partially to blame.
