Fine Gael TDs urged To Quit Government Over Hospital Overcrowding

Clare’s Fine Gael TDs have been urged to withdraw their support for government over the ongoing overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick.

The call has come from former TD James Breen, in the wake of Thursday’s record-equalling figure of 81 people on trolleys at Dooradoyle.

The long-time health campaigner, who recently retired from politics, thinks Deputies Pat Breen and Joe Carey should pull their support for government in order to force action on the ongoing crisis.
