Consultant Urges People Not To Put Lives At Risk By Avoiding Hospital

The people of Clare who are in need of urgent medical treatment are being urged not to put their lives at risk by delaying presenting at University Hospital Limerick over COVID-19 fears.

With the numbers testing positive for coronavirus continuing to climb, trolley numbers remain unusually low across the country, with no patients on trolleys at UHL once again today.

This has led to concern among health professionals that people who require medical intervention are not getting the care they need.
