A North Clare health campaigner is expressing concern that the true picture of overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick may be much worse than the figures suggest.

The INMO’s February trolleywatch report has revealed that almost 10,500 patients nationwide were left on trolleys last month; with UHL topping the list, accounting for almost 1,300 of those.

This marks a 32% increase on the same month last year, while it’s a massive jump of 81% on the figure from 2015.
