Clare Receives €374,000 In Healthy Ireland Funding

Clare has secured over €374,000 in funding under the Healthy Ireland initiative.

The grant will go towards implementing the Healthy Clare Strategic Plan, which was launched in March of last year.

Physical activity, healthy eating, sexual health and tobacco-free initiatives are just some of the main aims of the three-year plan, which aims to improve the overall health of the county.

This funding will see many projects under that umbrella proceed, including athletics for children with disabilities, mental well-being programmes and addiction support.
