69 Patients On Trolleys At UHL This Morning

Nurses say 69 patients were left waiting for beds at the region’s main hospital this morning.

University Hospital Limerick is by far the most overcrowded in the country today, with 49 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department this morning, according to the latest INMO figures.

A further 20 were being accommodated in overflow areas of wards.
