67 On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to rise once again this week.

The latest figures from the INMO shows 67 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 38 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure represents a jump of five on yesterday’s trolley numbers at the Dooradoyle facility and is five more than the next busiest facility; Cork University Hospital.
