67 Patients On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital remains high, as the week begins.

The latest INMO figures show 67 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 45 of those in the emergency department alone.

The overall figure is 24 more than the next busiest facility Cork University Hospital and comes on day when 472 patients have been left waiting for beds.
