61 Patients On Trolleys At UHL

The level of overcrowding remains high at the region’s main hospital.

The latest INMO figures show 61 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 32 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figure is 12 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when 525 patients have been left waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
