Clare’s Independent TD will not support the government in adopting the Budget.

Deputy Michael Harty has expressed disappointment with measures announced by Minister Paschaal Donohue, particularly with what he sees as a lack of supports for rural areas.

He’s also hit out at a lack of reforms in the health service and believes the introduction of 100,000 new GP-visit cards – without first bolstering General Practice – is aimed at getting votes in the next election.
