Clare’s Independent TD is calling on the region’s Oireachtas members to vote down a Noise Regulation Bill in order to support Shannon Airport.
The Bill, which is currently before the Oireachtas, has been introduced to facilitate more night time flights into Dublin Airport.
But Dr Michael Harty wants to see the likes of Shannon Airport utilised instead, where there are fewer flights, rather than add more investment in Dublin.
