Clare Independent TD Dr. Michael Harty is backing Senator Joan Freeman for the Presidency.
Deputy Harty has paid tribute to the Pieta House founder, saying she has brought individual good to tens of thousands of people.
His endorsement comes as Ms. Freeman, and a host of other candidates, tour Councils so as to court their support in a bid to get on the ticket for October’s election.
