Harris Urged To Commit To 96-Bed Block At UHL

A Clare member of the HSE’s Regional Health Forum West is urging Simon Harris to issue a timeline for a planned 96-bed block at University Hospital Limerick today.

The Health Minister is meeting with the four local members of the HSE forum this afternoon, over their concerns about the future of health care in the Midwest.

One of their main aims, a 60-bed modular unit to alleviate overcrowding in the short term, has already received the green light and now focus is turning to the longer term solution of the 96-bed block.
