German officials say a man arrested over a knife attack at a supermarket was known to authorities as an Islamic radical and mentally unstable.
One person died and several others were injured when it happened in Hamburg yesterday.
The motive for the attack remains unclear, but it’s thought the suspect acted alone and was not linked to an extremist network.
