Growing Frustration Among Clare Boutiques Over Sale Of Clothing In Supermarkets

There’s growing frustration among some Clare retailers over the ability of large chain stores to sell items which have been deemed as ‘non-essential’, such as clothing.

Under level five clothes shops are among the large number of stores which are forced to close, but some retailers which are allowed open are also selling clothes, as well as the likes of books and toys.

Some have argued that this is unfair to smaller local businesses which aren’t allowed to let customers in.
