Greenways May Help To Combat Air Pollution Problem – Garvey

Clare’s Green Party Senator claims more walking and cycling infrastructure in Clare may help to combat the problem of air pollution in Ennis and surrounding areas.

50 million euro is being made available by the government for county councils to create more walking and cycling routes, with the local authority here here already committed to projects in both East and West Clare.

Data from the EPA last week suggested very high levels of air pollution in Ennis which may not be safe to jog or cycle in.
