Green Party Focus Should Remain On Government Talks Not Leadership – Garvey

Clare’s Green Party Councillor has played down talk of a split within the party, and says their focus should remain on Government formation talks and not on the party’s leadership.

It comes as a number of Green Party members are calling for Eamon Ryan to be replaced as leader by his current Number Two, Catherine Martin.

Under party rules, a leadership election must take place within six months of a general election, and a vote is due to take place in August.
