Greek Austerity Measures approved

Greek politicians have approved tough austerity measures needed to secure a second bailout from the EU, worth 130 billion euro.

But outside parliament police and protesters fought running battles, with several buildings set on fire and shops looted.

They were voicing their anger at the impact the Government’s cuts will have.
