GPs Threaten Action Over Government’s ‘Failure’ To Address Health Crisis

Clare GPs and their colleagues nationally are threatening industrial action after being allocated only 5 percent of funding sought in the Budget.

The NAGP sought 500 million euro investment in primary care to help tackle the health crisis – but the government allocated just 25 million.

Scarriff-based former president of the GPs union, Dr Conor McGee says the government’s failure to address it is having a major impact on the level of care they can provide.
