Government ‘Beginning To Realise’ Airport Growth Must Be Focused Outside Of Dublin

Shannon Group believes the government is starting to realise the need to focus on growing airports outside of Dublin.

It’s after an Oireachtas report this week revealed that Shannon Airport is worth in the region of a billion euro annually to the economy, with much of that spend going in Clare and Limerick.

The analysis of Irish airports shows that in total, they are worth around €10.2 billion each year to Ireland’s economy, with Dublin accounting for €8.3 billion of that.
