Gardaí Urge Clare Motorists To Slow Down On Roads Today

Clare motorists are being urged to take their time on the roads today as part of Operation Slow Down.

Gardaí have set up a number of checkpoints around the country including on the N68 Ennis to Kilrush Road at Knockalough, Kilmihil and at Mountscribe on the N67 near Kinvara.

So far this year 123 people have died on Irish roads, marking a decrease of 27 on the same period last year.
