Gardaí have described the burglary of a house in Shannon as “traumatic” for the retired homeowner, who was in the house at the time.
A man entered the house in The Grove Housing Estate in Shannon at around 2am on Saturday, August 8th, though an upstairs window, using two ladders.
One of the ladders was taken from a nighbouring garden.
