Clare Gardaí have confirmed that a number of people have been questioned as part of an ongoing investigation into signed letters of support for a motorway plaza on the outskirts of Ennis.
An application for planning permission by Supermacs Ireland Ltd. for a Barack Obama-style plaza became surrounded in controversy last year after it emerged fake signatures were contained in some submissions.
Gardaí have confirmed that an investigation has been ongoing since the end of last year, as Clare FM’s Gavin Grace reports:
