Gardaí say they’re following a definite line of inquiry after three people were assaulted in a series of incidents in Ennis.

A woman in her fifties was assaulted by a man in an incident at a fast food restaurant on O’Connell Street in Ennis, at around 6.30 last evening.

Shortly afterwards two men, a man in his fifties and a man in his seventies, who were getting out of their cars in the Friar’s Walk car park were set upon by the same man.
