Gardaí probe vandalised life saving equipment

Clare Gardaí are investigating after a number of life saving devices at waterways across the county were stolen or vandalised.

The lifebuoys are located near rivers, lakes and seashores across Clare and are used as a rescue aid if someone gets into difficulty in the water.

However in recent weeks specialised ropes which form part of the lifesaving equipment have been taken.
