Garda Investigation After Shots Fired At House In Clarecastle

A Garda investigation has been launched after shots were fired at a house in Clarecastle.

At around 10.30pm on Friday last, the occupants of a house in Clarehill thought they heard fireworks being discharged, but afterwards discovered bullet holes in the wall and shell casings on the ground.

A car, which was seen leaving the area immediately after the incident, was later found burnt out between Clarecastle and Dromoland at Manusmore.
