Galway Conference To Hear Traveller Accomodation Beyond Crisis Point

A conference in Galway will today hear that the lack of accommodation for travellers is beyond crisis point.

Over the past twenty years, less than half of the 2,200 halting sites promised by the Government have been delivered.

It’s forced over 2,000 individuals into the private rented sector, where it’s claimed they’re more likely to face discrimination and eviction.
