Gaelcholáiste Principal Frustrated At Year-Long Wait For €8,500 Reimbursement From Government

The principal of a Loop Head Gaelcholáiste says it beggers belief that it’s taken a year to get money from the government for refurbishments that have long been carried out.

Minister of State for the Irish Language Joe McHugh has announced a grant of around €8,500 for Coláiste Eoghan Uí Chomhraidhe.

The money is a reimbursement of funds the school spent addressing essential security and safety issues last year and comes a full 12 months after management there had applied for it.
