Funding Awarded To Two Clare Traditional Music Venues

Two key sites for traditional music in Clare have been awarded capital funding by government.

Arts Minister Heather Humphreys has announced 20 thousand euro for Cois na hAbhna in Ennis, and a further 18,500 euro for Teach Ceoil in Kilrush.

Acknowledging that the sums are modest, the Minister has expressed hope that they will make a positive difference to the organisations concerned.

In all, 745 thousand euro has been announced for over 60 local arts organisations around the country.
