Frustration Over Disparity Between Clare Roads Funding And Other Counties

Frustration has been expressed over the disparity between the level of roads funding granted for Clare and other counties.

The national roads allocation for the banner has doubled to more than 4 million euro this year, with 2.5 million of that earmarked for works on the N67.

It comes ahead of an announcement on the Local Improvement Scheme, which allows for works on some fo the county’s smallest roads.
