Fresh Concern About Delivery Of Social Housing In Clare

A North Clare local election candidate is expressing concern about how the delivery of social housing in Clare is being managed.

Figures released by the Department of Housing show that a total of 43 new homes were built in this county last year.

Of that number, two were built by Clare County Council and a further 41 by Approved Housing Bodies; while overall, including through leases and acquirements, Clare’s target for last year was exceeded.
