The outgoing Parish Priest of Ennis, has said that while he was overcome with a profound sense of sadness at the thought of moving to a new parish, he’s excited to take up his new role.
Fr Tom Hogan is leaving the county town for Birr in July after 20 years, under extensive changes within the Diocese Of Killaloe recently announced by the Bishop.
It’s part of efforts to respond to the changing age profile of the diocese’s clergy.
