Ireland’s famous Benhaffaf twins, who were conjoined at birth, are being treated to a special day at Shannon Airport today.

Hassan and Hussein were joined at the chest at birth and a 14 hour operation separated them eight years ago.

They were given little chance of survival and have since had over 40 operations but now, they are thriving.

This afternoon, they’re hard at work as operations managers in Shannon Airport thanks to the Share A Dream Foundation, on what their mother Angie says is a landmark for her family.
