Iarnród Éireann is advising customers that bus transfers will be in place on the Ennis to Limerick route because of flooding on the track.

The replacement services will be introduced from tomorrow until further notice due to issues at Ballycar, where significant flood events have been seen in recent years.

All services between the county town and Limerick will be substituted by bus from morning, while the 6.50am Limerick to Ennis and 9.40pm Ennis to Limerick services on Sunday will be cancelled completely.
