Victims of the flooding in Ennis, Clonlara and Carron are hoping to get back to some kind of normal life before Christmas.
As the clean up operation continues, contract cleaners will be brought in to homes in the Oakwood Drive and Shallee Drive areas of Ennis tomorrow to ensure the damaged houses are safe and dry for their occupants to return.
Other affected housholders have had to avail of private rented accommodation while many are still in hotels.
