Five Clare Projects To Benefit From Recreational Grants

Five Clare projects are to benefit from recreational grants to the tune of almost 60,000 euro.

1.8 million euro in funding has been allocated towards 128 projects nationally, under the Governemnt’s Outdoor Rural Infrastructure Scheme.

Funding has been allocated through the Clare Local Development Company, which provides for the development of greenways, blueways and other trails at different locations in the county.

The Ogonnelloe Community Footpath, the Inagh Kilnamona walkway, the West Clare Trailways, the Cascades in Lissycasey and the Tulla Heritage Walks Development will all receive a portion of the funding.
