Children around Clare are being asked to check with their parents that their chimneys have been cleaned out ahead of Santa’s arrival.
Santa Claus will arrive in the Banner County on Monday night, after visiting Ennis in recent weeks to see how preparations were going.
While most of the presents will be wrapped under the tree by now and the carrot for Rudolf will be ready to go on Christmas Eve, Clare County Fire Service is now asking people to make sure their chimneys are clean for Father Christmas.
