A Finland-based packaging company has acquired a majority stake in an Ennis-based paper cup manufacturer.
The Irish Times reports that Huhtamaki has purchased a 70 per cent stake in CupPrint for 22 million euro.
CupPrint, which is based at the Ballymaley Business Park, was founded in 2009 by businessman Terry Fox and employs around 110 people.

The company has been to the fore in recent years in developing the ability to manufacture environmentally friendly disposable cups, and produces around 8 million cups a month.
