Its feared Clare homeowners will be paying more in Local Property Tax next year – despite the rate not changing.
Councillors have agreed that households will continue with the standard rate that was paid this year.
Cathaoirleach of Shannon Municipal District Mike McKee was the only local representative who wanted to see it cut by 15 percent, in line with the reduced 2016 rate.
