Fear That West Clare Won’t Survive If Number Of New Builds Doesn’t Increase

It’s feared West Clare won’t survive if the number of homes being built there doesn’t increase dramatically.

Figures released by the CSO show that of the 55 new builds in this county in the second quarter of this year, just five were completed in Kilrush and its surrounding areas.

It’s a slight rise on the same period last year, when 52 new homes were built, but remains the lowest number of new homes built during that period in the MidWest.
