Farmers Urge Council To Heed Greenway Worries

Clare farmers are urging the local authority to listen to their concerns before any further work on the West Clare Railway Greenway takes place.

The local branch of the Irish Farmers Association has made a presentation to Clare County Council outlining their primary concerns for the year ahead, this being one of them.

The planned walking and cycling track would follow the old West Clare Railway, which traverses the land of many farmers – and local farming groups have expressed concern about this.
