A 72 year old farmer has appeared before Limerick District Court, charged in connection with the shooting of another farmer and the death of his dog.
Ted O’Donoghue of Kilmoreen, Kildimo was charged with assault causing harm to 65-year old John Hayes at Ballycasey, Co Limerick, yesterday.
The court heard the incident followed a long running farmers’ feud.
