Fall In Road Deaths In 2018 But Unwelcome Rise Recorded In Clare

149 people lost their lives on Ireland’s roads in 2018.

That’s a record low, and a 4 per cent drop when compared with the previous year.

In Clare, however, there was a rise in the number of road deaths last year, up by two to six people.
