HSE MidWest is advising that wearing face masks is vital in the fight against COVID-19.
From today, face coverings are mandatory in places where social distancing can’t be achieved such as shops, retail outlet and shopping centres.
While, masks have been compulsory on public transport since last week, with those found in breach of regulations facing a possible 2,500 fine or six months in prison.
