The Parish Priest of Ennistymon hopes those involved in stealing thousands of euro from the church will be brought to justice.
Thieves gained entry to the property by forcing open a number of doors sometime between 8pm on Sunday evening and 10am on Monday morning.
The ransacked the sacristy before getting away with a significant sum of money believed to be in the region of 5,000 euro.
