Ennis Town Bus Service Still In Planning Stage

The National Transport Authority says it will continue to engage with Clare County Council with a view to providing an Ennis Town Bus Service.

The idea was first mooted in 2004, and in November 2017 a proposal calling on the council to urge the NTA to put a plan in place, received unanimous backing by Ennis Councillors.

Representatives from the NTA have since met with council officials in February of this year to examine a proposal, but no date has been set for a further meeting on the matter.

The NTA has now told Clare FM that the Ennis Town Bus Service is still in the planning stage.
