Ennis Prepares To Welcome Thousands Of Fleadh Visitors

Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Ennis this weekend as Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann officially gets underway.

Legendary dancer Michael Flatley will officially launch the world’s largest traditional music festival at a special event in the Abbey Street Car Park on Sunday afternoon, while the skies will be lit up by a fireworks display later in the evening.

This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better than last, with buskers on the streets, competitions, gigs and concerts.
