Ennis Ambulance Workers Take To The Picket Line

Ambulance personnel in Ennis say emergency calls won’t go unanswered during their ten hour strike today.

They’re among 500 workers across the country who have taken to the picket line in a row with the Health Service Executive over union recognition.

The HSE says it already recognises a number of trade unions and that engaging with any more would impair good industrial relations.
